This online training features self-paced, flexible classes in environmental education and stewardship with an emphasis on data-driven lessons and optional hands-on field experiences to equip learners with a deep understanding of ecosystems, wildlife, and conservation practices. preparing individuals to effectively observe, understand, and protect the natural world.

The mission of the SD Volunteer Naturalists Program is to empower well-informed volunteers to provide education, outreach, and service dedicated to the well-being of the natural world and to foster people's connection with nature, the environment, and natural areas within our local communities and the state of South Dakota.

Here at Utah Master Naturalist, our mission is to promote awareness, understanding, and stewardship of Utah’s natural environment. Our programs develop a network of well-informed citizens dedicated to conservation, education, and service within their communities. Through training in the field, in the classroom, and online, Utah Master Naturalists participate in the lifelong pursuit of knowledge and skills.

The focus of the Montana Master Naturalist Program is to increase natural history knowledge and promote awareness, understanding, and stewardship of Montana’s natural environment by developing a corps of well-informed citizens dedicated to conservation education and service within their communities.

Utah
Tree Utah
TreeUtah works with students, municipalities, local businesses, community groups, and volunteers to plant trees in public spaces throughout the state. We plant trees of all types and sizes to make Utah a greener place to live, work, and play.
We have planted over 400K trees with the help of 185K volunteers.

Nebraska
NMNF
The Nebraska Master Naturalist Program is a public and private partnership supported by the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, Nebraska Environmental Trust, Nebraska Game and Parks Commission and Nebraska Master Naturalist Foundation. Our program recruits, trains, manages, and provides resources for our Naturalist members participating in interpretation and outreach, resource management, citizen science, and outdoor skills and recreation in Nebraska.
